We realize
that many divers dive by themselves, but this in no way makes them
"solo divers Self sufficiency divers
"
One
of InDepth most popular courses, the
Self
sufficiency - solo
diver
program teaches experienced recreational divers how to safely dive
independently of a dive buddy. The course stresses proper dive
planning and accident prevention and in the benefits, hazards, and
proper procedures for diving solo.
With experience divers tend to become more focused on personal dive
goals and unless buddy teams are well matched the buddy system
becomes a burden rather than a complimentary activity. The evolution
of modern dive equipment allows for sufficient safeguards for
redundancy to effectively negate any real need for a dive partner.
Neptune Fairtex, conveniently conduct the classroom, pool and ocean
diving components of this two day course. The Solo Diver course
concentrates on developing independent skills to manage dive
planning and contingences, self rescue techniques and other elements
of practical diving needed to achieve the freedom and independences
confident divers seek.
The self sufficiency - solo diver course is perfect for underwater photographers,
marine biologists, technical and recreational divers who have a
desire to become more independent in the water.
